This is an oil painting, it was done for the cover of my book "Run for Cover, the art of Derek Riggs" which is available from this website and Amazon and Ebay. It's the first actual Eddie painting I had done in almost 10 years. it's now in someone's private collection. I sold the reproduction rights to Maiden for their posters and stuff. It was an illustration for one of their songs about WW2. It was supposed to look a bit like the Trooper cover, it's not an accident.
